O conceito da apresentação da moda brasileira gira em torno de um fenômeno natural popularmente conhecido como “chuva de caju” — as chuvas escassas durante a estação seca que antecedem a floração do cajueiro e simbolizam uma boa colheita por vir. Mas o que o projeto propõe é o significado mais amplo da expressão, o de transformação e imprevisibilidade. A capacidade de confrontar não apenas o nosso impacto no meio ambiente, mas todas as dinâmicas cotidianas, sociais e espaciais, diante das dificuldades e munidos de esperança.
Assim como a chuva hidrata a terra onde plantamos e colhemos o que é possível, o contato com a natureza e o conhecimento do cultivo nos guiam por caminhos que transitam entre tradições e inovações. Esses caminhos são os mesmos que participam da construção contínua da nossa identidade em todos os campos do conhecimento, da nossa memória.
O reflexo dessa ideia na moda é a sua compreensão como ferramenta de transformação; uma atitude vigorosa de encarar o presente, capaz de solucionar e encantar. Uma dinâmica fluida em que a materialidade e a forma tocam a pele, criando uma experiência sensorial que se ramifica como comportamento e se regenera como cultura.

The concept behind the presentation of Brazilian fashion revolves around a natural phenomenon popularly known as the “cashew rain” — the sparse showers during the dry season that precede the flowering of the cashew tree and symbolize a good harvest to come. Yet, what the project proposes is the broader meaning of this expression: transformation and unpredictability. The ability to confront not only our impact on the environment, but also the everyday, social, and spatial dynamics — facing difficulties, yet armed with hope.
Just as rain nourishes the soil where we plant and harvest what is possible, contact with nature and knowledge of cultivation guide us along paths that move between traditions and innovations. These are the same paths that contribute to the continuous construction of our identity across all fields of knowledge, across our memory.
The reflection of this idea in fashion is its understanding as a tool for transformation: a vigorous attitude toward the present, capable of solving and enchanting. A fluid dynamic where materiality and form touch the skin, creating a sensorial experience that branches into behaviour and regenerates as culture.

Arte é o ato de desviar perspectivas. No caso das novas tecnologias, o olhar artístico se torna ainda mais necessário. Sua função é desviar os padrões reproduzidos repetidamente pelos algoritmos. No mundo da inteligência artificial, tudo o que é comum é facilmente premiado, e tudo o que é desafiador para os olhos é lançado em um limbo de estranheza. Olhar para a máquina que padroniza e exercitar processos de interpretação inesperados é o que faz a Je ser tão especial. Sem medo da máquina, ela subverte inputs e nos oferece outputs de uma beleza singular.
Conheci a Je há alguns anos e, sem conhecer sua história, diria que ela havia sido criada em berços de ouro. A sofisticação do seu olhar, sua capacidade de equilíbrio, composição, proporção se misturavam a um interesse genuíno por tudo que era estranho, muitas vezes bizarro e grotesco. Fui saber, mais tarde, que a jovem mulher não vinha de um berço de ouro, pelo contrário, e tudo passou a fazer mais sentido. Foi criando estampas para as minhas primeiras coleções que percebi o valor da complexidade presente em sua cabeça. Como todo artista autêntico, ela mostra em seus processos, coragem. Não tem medo da tinta, não teme a fotografia, encara ferramentas generativas com a mesma elegância que desenha à mão. Seus trabalhos, assim como sua biografia, são enviesados, múltiplos, experimentais. Suas flores não são flores, suas linhas não são linhas, seus objetos não caem na mesmice do real.
Ao longo das minhas coleções, recebi diversos artistas que me desafiaram a olhar para o meu próprio trabalho de maneira diferente. Com a Je, minha admiração travou uma relação de reconhecimento artístico. Brigamos pelo desvio de padrões e não tememos nenhuma ferramenta. Se alguém nos pergunta se o que fazemos é arte, respondemos que a dúvida é nossa melhor resposta.

Art is the act of shifting perspectives. When it comes to new technologies, an artistic perspective becomes even more essential. Art’s role is to disrupt the patterns endlessly replicated by algorithms. In the realm of artificial intelligence, anything commonplace is readily rewarded, while anything that challenges the eye is cast into a limbo of strangeness. Observing the machine that standardizes and daring to exercise unexpected interpretative processes is what makes Je so extraordinary. Fearless of the machine, she subverts its inputs and offers us outputs of singular beauty.
I met Je a few years ago, and without knowing her story, I might have assumed she was raised in the lap of luxury. Her refined perspective, her innate sense of balance, composition, and proportion—all of this, combined with a genuine fascination for the strange, the bizarre, and the grotesque, gave her an air of effortless sophistication. But later, I learned that this young woman didn’t come from privilege—quite the opposite—and suddenly everything about her made even more sense. It was while she was creating prints for my early collections that I began to grasp the depth and intricacy of her mind. Like any true artist, her processes are fearless. She’s unafraid to wield paint or photography and approaches generative tools with the same grace she brings to hand-drawn lines. Her works—like her life story—are unconventional, multifaceted, and boldly experimental. Her flowers are never just flowers, her lines are never mere lines, and her objects refuse to settle for the monotony of the real.
Throughout my collections, I’ve had the privilege of working with many artists who pushed me to see my work through new eyes. But with Je, my admiration deepened into a profound artistic kinship. Together, we strive to break patterns and embrace every tool with curiosity and fearlessness. If someone asks whether what we create is art, we answer simply: the question itself is our greatest response.
